A health guide to when your child(ren) should stay home

Please be diligent about keeping your children home if they have any symptoms and call our school office at 612-781-2643. Symptoms to watch for: fever, cough, loss of smell or taste, difficulty breathing, chills, headache.

Information regarding prescription medication:

If a child is on a prescription medication, our preference is to have the parents administer the medication at home. If this is not possible at the necessary times of administration please contact the health office. Non- prescription medication will not be provided by the school. If parents would like to have the health office staff give their child Ibuprofen, acetaminophen, cough drops, etc., they must send the medication to the health office in a ziplock bag with the child’s name and grade level clearly marked. Parents must also sign a form giving our staff permission to administer these medications. Parents will be notified via email each time our staff gives their child medication. Click here for health forms. For questions, please call the health office at 612-787-1131.
