Fall Fest is October 7!

It’s MARATHON time!

The St. Charles Annual School Marathon is around the corner! Mark your calendars for the Marathon on October 7 and start fundraising now. We hope you found your Marathon packet and sponsor log in your Back to School packet. This week we are officially kicking off Marathon season by visiting each classroom and telling our students about the Marathon, and how they can win some cool prizes!

The Marathon is our school’s community-building event and helps raise awareness of non-public education. It’s also the most important school fundraising event of the year. Donations raised through the marathon go directly to our school to support many programs and are a part of our operating budget. This year our overall school fundraising goal is $43,000. Last year our students surpassed their goal – we are hoping to do the same this year!

All students in Preschool through 8th grade and their families are invited to participate in the Marathon. Each student in kindergarten through 8th grade is asked to meet a minimum fundraising goal of $185 to help us reach our school goal. Students may find people to sponsor them for participating in the Marathon, or families may choose to make the fair share payment of $185 per student.

In addition to supporting our school through fundraising, students have an opportunity to earn LOTS of prizes thanks to generous donors. New this year – our Grand Prize winners will be randomly selected and include more than 15 prizes such as Beats headphones, a Drone, and an iPad!

The weather is still nice so we hope you take advantage and get out to your neighbors and friends soon!

Matching Fund Programs offered by many companies can help us reach our goal. Please check with your employer to see if your company or organization has a matching fund program for educational institutions. Some companies we have received matching funds from are: Ameriprise, Blue Cross Blue Shield, General Mills, McKesson, Medtronic, Reuters, Securian, United Way, Wachovia, and Wells Fargo.
